Two hundred volunteers recently utilized their creativity to paint with a purpose and beautify Jewish Community Services of South Florida’s new Kosher Food Bank facility in North Miami Beach.

The paintings the participants worked on during the event, “Painting with A Purpose,” will be decorated on the walls of this new facility that the JCS Kosher Food Bank, which provides food to more than 380 families and nearly 100 Holocaust survivors throughout Miami-Dade County, opens within the next few months. The event was led by JCS Alliance, the agency’s young professionals group.

Marian Mendelsohn, director for JCS’ Community Engagement Division, described the event as “amazing.”
