The food insecurity rate in Miami is nearly 20% and even higher among homebound seniors, single parent households and those facing temporary or prolong difficult economic times.
To meet the growing demand for food, JCS maintains meal sites at five dining facilities throughout Miami, the Kosher Food Bank provides food to adults, families and Holocaust survivors as well as a meal delivery service for homebound seniors.
JCS invites interested parties to bid for Title III-Nutrition Services Program to begin January 1, 2024. This invitation is to bid for the furnishing of Glatt Kosher meals served to older adults participating in the Senior Meals Program at Jewish Community Services of South Florida.
