Coral Gables – From now until March 8, Actors’ Playhouse At The Miracle Theatre will be showcasing the Tony Award winning musical Dear Evan Hansen as part of its partnership with local organizations that provide exceptional mental health, education, and social services.
“It’s interesting, it’s entertaining. It puts things in front of your eyes that may be what you live through; or know people who live through,” said Executive Producing Director Barbara Stein when discussing why live theater is a good way to create an understanding about matters such as emotional wellbeing. “And if you can put yourself in the portrayal, it’s a catharsis for your own condition.”
