The new, expanded JCS Kosher Food Bank is officially open! Thanks to everyone that joined us for this special evening and congratulations to the staff, volunteers, donors and sponsors that JCS is at the forefront of tackling food insecurity in Miami.
The food insecurity rate in Miami is nearly 20% and even higher among homebound seniors, single parent households and those facing temporary or prolong difficult economic times.
