Delivering Essentials. Delivering Care.

Keeping Seniors Safe at Home

The JCS Delivers Shopping Program provides homebound seniors with personalized grocery deliveries and essential household items, ensuring they have access to the necessities they need to live safely and independently. Each delivery also serves as a wellness check, offering regular contact and care to some of the most isolated members of our community.

The program serves low-income seniors aged 60 and older in Miami-Dade County, specifically those with monthly incomes under $1,300. By bringing food and essential items directly to their doorsteps, the program helps reduce food insecurity and supports seniors who are unable to shop for themselves due to health, mobility, or transportation challenges.

The JCS Delivers Shopping Program is more than just a delivery service—it provides a lifeline for vulnerable older adults. In addition to helping meet basic needs, each visit offers a moment of human connection and a compassionate check-in on the client’s well-being and, if needed, a referral to JCS’ Case Management Services. This tailored support helps ensure that seniors may continue aging in place with dignity, safety, and peace of mind.
