More Than a Ride—A Lifeline

Safe, Accessible Rides for Seniors

The JCS Senior Ride Program provides reliable transportation for seniors to attend JCS’ congregate lunch meal sites, grocery shopping, doctor’s appointments, and community activities.

The program is open to clients of all income levels; there is no financial eligibility requirement. Qualifying seniors aged 60 and older in Miami-Dade County who need transportation assistance may participate in the JCS Senior Ride Program, which functions with two passenger buses, and is operated by a driver with a CDL license.

The JCS Senior Ride Program provides more than just transportation—it offers seniors a vital connection to the services, support, and community they need to live independently. By offering safe, reliable rides to congregate meal sites, grocery stores, and community activities, the program helps older adults maintain their health, autonomy, and social engagement. Open to individuals aged 60 and older throughout Miami-Dade County, regardless of income, the program ensures seniors have access to the resources that support aging with dignity and connection.

The JCS Senior Ride Program is currently only available for clients of the Diener Center Congregate Meals Site in Miami Beach.
