Honoring Tradition. Supporting Families.
Nourishing Our Community With Dignity
Guided by a commitment to dignity and tradition, the JCS Kosher Food Bank (KFB) provides food-insecure individuals and families with kosher, nutritious shelf-stable and fresh options — including challah, fresh fruits and vegetables, chicken, and eggs.
Beyond food distribution, the KFB actively engages the community through volunteer programs, mitzvah projects, and partnerships with religious day schools via its “Kids for KFB” initiative. The program provides non-food items to clients as well, based on need, such as birthday party supplies for children, hygiene products for adults, and much more.
Hunger is often just one visible symptom of deeper, interconnected issues that families face. To accommodate this, the Kosher Food Bank also provides a dedicated Case Manager to assist clients with their additional needs to promote well-being and self-sufficiency.
The JCS Kosher Food Bank (KFB) serves as a vital support system for individuals and families facing a range of challenges. Whether it is a senior seeking a compassionate ear, a young mother needing help applying for food stamps, or someone requiring assistance with their individual needs, we are here to provide guidance, care, and support to strengthen our community.
To volunteer for the program, please email foodbank@jcsfl.org or call 305.947.8093.
