Jewish Community Services of South Florida elected Jonathan Raiffe Board Chair for a two-year term from July 2020 to July 2022. As Chair, Raiffe seeks to expand its role as a vital resource to Jewish and broader communities across Miami-Dade County.

Raiffe is the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of the Adler Group, a multigenerational full-service real estate company headquartered in Miami, Florida, with decades of leasing, property management, acquisitions, investment, development and construction experience. As COO, Raiffe is responsible for the firm’s investment strategy, capitalization and all day to day activities for the company.

“I am honored to have the confidence of the JCS board as we move this great organization into a new era,” Raiffe said. “It is imperative that we address the complex human service issues of today’s world and strategically anticipate the ones of tomorrow; therefore, I aim to work with JCS leaders and our professional staff to strengthen partnerships to extend our reach throughout our diverse community.”

Raiffe’s service to JCS started in 2010 when he was nominated to the Board and founded the JCS Alliance, a dynamic young professionals’ group. He later was appointed and served as Treasurer from 2014-2018 and followed by Vice-Chairman. In addition to his current commitment to JCS, Raiffe also serves on the Board of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.
“We are excited to have Jonathan assume leadership of our Board of Directors,” said Miriam Singer, JCS President & CEO. “His deep connection to our community and our Jewish values that have been a legacy from generation to generation will be invaluable as we chart a course for the future.”

Raiffe attended Washington University in Saint Louis where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. He later received a Master of Science in Finance and a Master of Science in International Real Estate from Florida International University. Additionally, Raiffe is licensed as a Florida Real Estate Sales Associate. He, his wife Laura and three-year-old son Benji reside in the City of Miami.
