JILP Pitches In
A large group of girls from the Jewish Individualized Learning Program (JILP) on Miami Beach recently came to the Kosher Food Bank bearing gifts. They brought bags full of food and stocked the shelves, having a great time as they performed a mitzvah. We could not be more grateful for their contribution of food and time.
Sisterhood of Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center Contributes
The Kosher Food Bank received a visit from Eme Chaikin and Audrey Bornstein, representing the sisterhood of the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center. They went shopping for many things needed at the facility, such as pasta, oil, applesauce, oatmeal, and macaroni and cheese. Plus they announced that they are already starting to collect items for Passover! We will be happy to welcome them back at any time.
