KFB Ready for Chanukah

The 3rd grade class of Hochberg Preparatory School recently visited the JCS Kosher Food Bank, bringing their Kids for Kosher Food Bank bins back filled to the brim with kosher groceries, Chanukah presents and decorations. They decorated the entire warehouse and even sang a few holiday songs. The Kosher Food Bank is now looking very festive and ready for Chanukah. A heartfelt thank you goes to the teachers and students of Hochberg Prep.

Birthday Girl Shares Her Special Day
This young donor pictured below wanted to share her birthday with the children of the JCS KFB so she brought in a bin full of presents, plus several checks. What a generous and compassionate young lady!

Sarah Lang Bat Mitzvah Project
Many thanks to Sarah Lang, who collected toys for an entire year for her Bat Mitzvah project to benefit the JCS Kosher Food Bank. Then she and her mom Ida Lang used them as centerpieces and decorations for her Bat Mitzvah before visiting the KFB to donate the toys. Her father is Rabbi Jory Lang of Temple Beth Moshe.
