Holiday Happenings at JCS Kosher Food Bank

Senker Family Visit

The Senker Family recently stopped by the JCS Kosher Food Bank with a big box of groceries for the holidays. Mom Bianca and sons Jonas, 10 years old, Liam, 8, and Nolan, 6, stocked the shelves with the food they brought. The Senkers come in at least three times each year.

The Esformes Give Back

Sherri Esformes and her sons Jack and Morris visited the Food Bank with several large boxes of kosher groceries for Rosh Hashanah and then stocked the shelves with their purchases. They are hoping to return on a monthly basis.

Fresh Tomatoes a Special Treat

Check out the photo of a beautiful donation of fresh tomatoes from Alex Bagdadi of Just Ripe in Dania on Stirling Road. Bonnie Schwartzbaum and Rodney Thomas went and picked up 70 cases of tomatoes at 25 pounds each, which will be a welcome addition to the  holiday tables of KFB clients. Alex also donated a ramp for loading/unloading our truck and even gave Rodney a nice pair of work gloves, since he is going out of the tomato biz.

Honoring New Baby Brother

In honor of his new baby brother Jordan, our favorite donor Ayden Shmuely, with the help of his mom Valorie Chavin Shmuely, went shopping and brought in school lunchboxes to the JCS Kosher Food Bank.
