Latin American Migration Program (LAMP)
JCS provides support and assistance to recent immigrants as well as to established members of the Latin-Jewish community. LAMP’s unique programs and activities help facilitate the transition to a new culture and mitigate the impact of the immigration experience. In addition, its culturally diverse, bi-lingual staff assists clients in accessing the services of JCS and other community agencies.
Rescue & Migration Program
JCS’ culturally diverse, multi-lingual staff offer recent arrivals to the U.S. critically needed help and support with the immigration process. Services include assistance with permanent residency (‘Green Card’), obtaining visas, extension of visits in the U.S., naturalization (citizenship) petitioning for a relative from abroad and other matters pertaining to Citizen and Immigration Services (CIS).
