Fred Stock, Mayor Gimenez and Sylvia Goldsmith

Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez recently visited the JCS Congregate Meal Site at the South Shore Community Center in Miami Beach. Mayor Gimenez spoke to the seniors in attendance and expressed appreciation for all the good work  JCS does in the community.

Representatives from various county departments were on hand to provide information about bus transportation for seniors and to distribute water reduction faucets, low-energy light bulbs and other materials. Mayor Gimenez was welcomed by Fred Stock and Sylvia Goldsmith, who thanked the mayor for honoring his commitment to maintain county funding for senior services.
