U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Ranking Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and JCS supporter, thanked the students, teachers, schools, congregations, and especially the Holocaust survivors, who participated in the recent Florida Keys Holocaust Survivors’ tour organized by Ros-Lehtinen.

“For five days, up and down the Keys, brave Holocaust survivors from South Florida shared their harrowing experiences with our community,” Ros-Lehtinen said.  “I cannot thank them enough for this.  I leapt at the opportunity to organize these events because I wanted to play whatever small role I could to help shed light on one of the darkest chapters in human history.

“Passing along the lessons of the Holocaust – especially to the young generation – does more than teach history.  It helps ensure that the world will never forget, and that the promise of ‘never again’ will be kept.”
