JCS is proud to announce the new chairs of the JCS Alliance, the young professionals who support JCS through events and hands-on service. Please congratulate Chad Klosky, who is returning for a second term, Jacqueline Berenson and Courtney Lenner. The group is planning an exciting season of events and activities.
Chad Klosky Quote: “As I move into my second term as Co-Chair of the JCS Alliance, the principles of camaraderie and philanthropy on which we founded the group still stand. We hope to increase our membership and activities in the coming year, and are always looking for ways to combine worthwhile events with our goal of supporting JCS. The upcoming evening at the Dezer Museum is a perfect representation of what we strive to accomplish.”
Jacqueline Berenson Quote: “This year, the JCS Alliance is taking the Milk & Honey food distribution event on September 9th to the next level. Our group, along with other volunteers, will help assemble food baskets. We will then visit Jewish seniors at Federation Towers in Miami Beach to host a L’Chaim with music, refreshments and give-a-ways. Our goal is to evolve into the premier volunteer hub for young professionals of JCS and the Milk & Honey L’Chaim is a great way to kick start a year filled with fun and meaningful programming.”
Courtney Lenner Quote: “For a minimum donation of $10, attendees at the JCS Alliance event at the Dezer Museum on Sunday evening, September 23rd, will enjoy a night of socializing and wine tasting. This will be a spectacular and memorable fundraiser benefiting JCS Meals on Wheels — a program serving approximately 150,000 meals annually to 650 elderly homebound recipients which is experiencing a funding shortfall. We look forward to seeing you at this event to help those in need.”
