Update: JCS received a grant from the County’s “Grants to Green Nonprofits Program” for the replacement of three commercial-grade HVAC units and 350 lighting fixtures in the Central Office. “Only 13 grant requests, out of the 67 submitted, were awarded,” said Fred Stock, JCS President and CEO. “That’s a testament to the comittment we are making to conserve resources and cut costs.” He noted that JCS’ expected annual savings are approximately $13,500.
